Spencer Stuart, a global leader in executive search and leadership consulting, undertook a strategic transformation of its office space to support the shift to hybrid working. As part of this change, the company aimed to reduce its office footprint while preserving its reputation for professionalism and excellence. The main challenge was to create a workspace that balances privacy, flexibility, and the company’s core values.
The design focused on creating a workspace that ensures confidentiality, a critical aspect of Spencer Stuart’s interactions with clients and candidates. Instead of traditional assigned seating, the new design features unassigned workstations, along with bookable private offices that accommodate different employee needs. To promote well-being, modern ergonomic furniture, including height-adjustable desks, was installed. A wellness room was also incorporated to enhance staff health and comfort. Flexible meeting rooms were designed to be multi-functional, allowing them to expand for larger gatherings as needed. Additionally, artwork from Spencer Stuart’s collection was thoughtfully integrated into the design, adding a sense of culture and identity.
The overall design was intended to inspire confidence in Spencer Stuart’s brand, providing a welcoming yet discreet and professional environment.
The office design seamlessly balanced the needs of both clients and employees, creating a space that prioritises understated elegance while maintaining functionality. Refined finishes and a sophisticated design convey quality and excellence, ensuring strong first impressions for clients and reinforcing the company’s reputation as a leader in leadership consulting. At the same time, the flexible layout supports employees’ autonomy, offering bookable private offices and various work settings that promote well-being and privacy. The design adapts to the evolving hybrid work model, allowing both clients and employees to experience the space in ways that meet their specific needs while maintaining a cohesive, professional environment.
